How to become a process server

The truth is, most of the best process servers out there had no idea what they were doing when they served their first paper.

I for one didn't, and the affidavit /proof of service was Greek to me.

They had a basic understanding of what to do, but no idea how to make the first approach and no clue as to how to handle the myriad of personalities and situations out there.

Many process servers had mentors, or someone willing to hold their hand, but most process servers won't help anyone become their competitor. Who can blame them.
